Underwood's long-tongued bat is a species of bat in the family Phyllostomidae. It is monotypic within the genus Hylonycteris. It is found in Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama. Hylonycteris underwoodi feed on nectar, pollen grains, agave and fruits.
