The Nguma-monene is a cryptid supposedly living in Central Africa, the Congo, Eastern Cameroon, the Motaba River and the Republic of the Congo, described as a huge, serpentine lizard. Length, 30–50 feet. Body is 2–3 feet in diameter. Grayish-brown. Head and neck are snakelike. Forked tongue. Serrated ridge along the spine. Short legs. It could be related to Mokele Mbembe as they both come from the same background and both resemble prehistoric animals. Nguma-monene is amphibious. It moves rapidly through swamps and eats birds and monkeys.
