The Muc-sheilche is a lake monster in Loch Maree and neighboring lochs. Mr. Banks of Letterewe tried to drain the loch to find the monster, but failed. He even tried poisoning it with quicklime. It's suggested that it could be a large eel or a plesiosaur.
