The Hidebehind is a nocturnal creature found in American folklore. It preys on unlucky humans who wander around in the woods alone, supposedly eating there livers. The Hidebehind is known, as the name suggests , to hide behind trees, rocks, or its victims, making it near impossible to see or find. It uses this skill to hunt down prey. Once the prey has been caught it gets dragged back to its home to be eaten.
