Chasmosaurus is a genus of ceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the Upper Cretaceous Period in North America. Its name means "opening lizard", referring to the large openings in its frill. With a length of 4.3–4.8 metres and a weight of 1.5–2 tons, Chasmosaurus was a medium ceratopsian of average size.
