The Capelobo (a.k.a. Cupelobo) is a legendary creature which inhabits the Northern and Northeastern regions of Brazil. It usually takes the form of a monstrous mammalian humanoid with a long tubular snout resembling that of an anteater, which is used to perforate the skull of its victims and feed upon their brains.
